About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to join their mission-driven team. The CRO will be responsible for designing and delivering a multi-year, cost-efficient revenue roadmap, building a diversified funding strategy, and prioritizing unrestricted revenue. This role involves leading major campaigns, developing compelling storytelling, and building a high-performing revenue team. The successful candidate will ensure strong integration across fundraising, marketing, finance, and programs, and will be a key player in expanding national visibility. The CRO will also be expected to personally cultivate and secure new high-capacity donors, as well as activate board networks. Applicants for the CRO position at the company should be results-driven leaders with over 15 years of experience in scaling revenue functions at a national nonprofit. The role requires a strategic thinker who is a natural connector and convincer, with exceptional relationship-building skills. The ideal candidate will be integrity-centered, mission-aligned, and deeply committed to equity and social impact. Strong conceptual thinking, long-range planning, and the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams are essential. The CRO must be skilled in storytelling, donor cultivation, and be fluent in systems thinking to align cross-functional teams for revenue success. The position is flexible within the United States and may require periodic travel.
